Hope everyone is having a good week! I’m pretty sure I have a sibling or two who will be celebrating an anniversary this week, too, so happy anniversary!
This week in Santos:
Three missionaries finished their missions and headed home, and 11 more will be leaving next week, so that’s pretty sad! A lot of my friends from here on the mission are starting to go home. This week there will be transfers as well, and I think there might be some big changes in the mission, which I’m excited about. Don’t worry, I won’t be going anywhere! haha.
New earliest mission wake-up time (not counting that 1:00am late-night adventure a few weeks ago): 3:40am. An Argentinian elder needed to go to the consulate in São Paulo, and the car was going to pick him up at 5:00, and he was missing his official photos so we had to take new ones. Anyway, we were pretty tired! After we sent him off in the car, Elder Rodgers and I tried to get some sleep on the office floor until 6:30 came around. Turns out that my tie doesn’t make for a very good pillow, by the way. In case you were wondering.
Since I emailed you last, we presented our temple cantata in 3 more stakes: São Vicente, Serra do Mar, and Santos. The performances aren’t as good as the Christmas cantata, but people are definitely enjoying them! And a lot of less-active members and investigators are coming.
Our investigator went to church this week and really liked it! We taught him about the Plan of Salvation this week and he seemed to really understand everything. We also had a family home evening with two families of recent converts, and that was a lot of fun. We talked about temples in preparation for the cantata!
Picture! Zone meeting this week at the Embaré chapel. It was the last meeting for Sisters Dalton and Allred (I’ll let you guess which ones they are)(hint: they’re American) since they’re leaving for home this week. We have a really fun zone!
Well have a great week, love you all!
